How to dropship from SHEIN

Are you interested in dropshipping fashion items and want to figure out how businesses like SHEIN, ROMWE, and ZAFUL started out and whether or not you can dropship from them? You came to the right article.

Are you allowed to dropship from SHEIN?

Yes, you are allowed to drop ship from SHEIN, however, you are not allowed to use any of their product pictures that include models.

This means that if you legally want to drop ship from SHEIN (without getting into trouble with them, should they find your store), you will have to provide your own product pictures.

It’s also good practice to message a supplier before dropshipping from them. So be sure to shoot them a message and they will explain everything you can and cannot do.

How to dropship from SHEIN

In the past, you were able to dropship from SHEIN using Modalyst. This meant you were able to get fast shipping times but you also had to pay the premium monthly pricing of Modalyst (assuming you went over their 25 product limit).

Those days are over since SHEIN got removed from Modalyst for breaching the rules: they added their own branding on the packages that were sent out meaning customers would find the original source.

Nowadays, if you want to dropship from SHEIN you’ll have to go far Aliexpress and use Oberlo to connect the two, this is completely free.

SHEIN Alternative: Emmacloth

If you still want fast shipping times, a good alternative to SHEIN is Emmacloth. Emmacloth is basically SHEIN but under a different name (or so our research suggests).

Emmacloth is a large wholesale provider of fashion products.

They can be used as a supplier through Importify, another Shopify order fulfilment and importation app that charges a subscription fee. The smallest package comes at $14.95/ mo.

So if you’re interesting in dropshipping fashion products that are similar to Shein, check out Emmacloth. You can access product selection on Importify by making a free account and see for yourself.

Should you dropship from SHEIN?

I would not recommend dropshipping directly from SHEIN. They don’t allow the use of their own images which is very annoying for a drop shipper. On top of that, they send out packages with their own branding on them so that’s a big NO-NO for any drop shipper as customers will find the original source and will feel scammed.

This will hurt your branding, result in complaints and chargebacks and eventually destroy your business.

If you still want to dropship from SHEIN you should look into importing products from Emmacloth through Importify. This way you still have access to many of the SHEIN products, you’ll get good shipping rates (better than Aliexpress) and they won’t put their branding on the packages.
