You’re setting up your Shopify dropshipping store but struggling to create a good logo?
A lot goes in logo design and it can get very daunting, especially when you have limited resources and graphic design background.
Luckily though, there are many free logo creation tools out there to help you get started with this.
Free Tools to Create Shopify Dropshipping Logos
#1 Shopify’s Logo Creator: Hatchful

Shopify has an interesting logo creation tool named Hatchful.
This tool was previously called Oberlo Logo Maker.
It’s completely free to use without login or anything like that.
It works in a 6 simple steps:
First they make you pick a niche.

Then they make you pick a visual style

Then they ask for your business name and slogan (optional)

Then they ask what exactly you need it for

…And then you get to to pick a logo!

Once picked, you get to change the name, fonts and colors to your liking

The Shopify Logo Creator is probably the most simplistic way to make a logo, ever.
You give them all the info you need and in less than 30 seconds you have many different logos to pick from.
Hatchful is definitely worth checking out.
Even if it’s just for inspiration purposes!
It’s definitely not perfect.
If you can’t find your pick here don’t fret though, on to the next tool!
#2 logomakr.com

logomakr.com is another stupid simple logo creation tool.
It’s free and also requires no login to get started.
When you head on over to their website, you can immediately get started as their homepage is literally the entire tool.
The homepage might remind you of paint.
You can type in your business name and change the font to your preference.
You can also choose from a library of over 1 million graphic elements.
All of which are free to use!
Simply type in your keyword (e.g fashion) and pick an element that fits your dropshipping store.
You can also add shapes.
Or import your own graphic elements.
And lastly you can change the colors to match your branding.

Once you’re done, hit the save button and save your file!
This is probably my favorite free logo creation tool out there.
It’s simple, requires no login and you get access to a big library of assets.
What’s not to like?
This is a 5/5 tool for dropshippers with limited startup capital.
#3 Canva

Canva is a very popular online graphic design tool.
While this tool has a premium version, it can be used completely free and contains many different features.
It’s not just for logo’s, on Canva you can make flyers, banners, social media posts and much, much more.
Overall, this is a tool that should be 100% part of your dropshipping kit.
Regardless of whether or not you use it for your logo design or not.
You can use it to style your Instagram story posts, create Pinterest pins, design your Facebook banner and SO much more.
Creating a logo on Canva is super simple and can be done in the following steps:
- Pick ‘logo’ from the create a design section
- Choose a logo from the thousands of pre-made templates
- …or make your own from scratch!
Just like logomakr.com you can drag in design elements, shapes, change up the font and more.

Once you’re done with your design hit the download button the top right and you’re done!
A Good Shopify logo should…
Be Simple
Logo design should be as simple as possible.
Think about Nike’s logo for example, it’s stupid simple, right?
But it works.
Your Shopify store logo should also be simple.
Adding many different elements to a logo, can quickly make it look very busy and professional.
Stick to 1 design element only.
And stay away from ‘fancy’ fonts that don’t match your overall branding.
You’re much better off using a simple sans-serif font like arial
Than using a serif font.
Match your Brand Color Scheme
Your logo should always match the color scheme of your store.
If your store uses a blue color scheme, don’t go with a green logo.
This is also a good reminder that your store should have a dedicated color scheme.
Don’t just ‘pick’ colors that you think might work.
That’s how brands wind up using green and red…
These types of colors don’t work together.
You might like both colors individually, but they should never be used together.
A quick free tool to help you out with your color scheme is Adobe Color.
What Happened to Oberlo Logo Maker?
I know many people might be looking for Oberlo’s Logo Maker and get confused because… It’s nowhere to be found.
This drag and drop logo builder was pretty popular and often used by Shopify drop shippers.
Well, the tool is now called Hatchful and is no longer drag and drop.
It’s now a machine learning tool Shopify developed to make logo design even easier.
But a tool like this does have limits..
As you can’t really design the logo yourself, you’re stuck to what they give you.
So if you are a fan of the Oberlo logo maker, you’re out of luck.
Don’t fret though, as there are many different free drag-and-drop logo tools out there such as:
Conclusion
Creating a Shopify Dropshipping Logo doesn’t have to be hard. There are so many free online logo creations tools to help you get started.
Don’t let the logo design intimidate you, it really doesn’t matter as much as you think.
As long as you keep your logo simple, relevant and matching your color scheme, you’ll be fine.
You can always get a better logo later on!
Big brands change and improve their logo design all the time.
