Oberlo vs Dsers (Is DSers the New Dropship King?)

Oberlo or DSers?

Has DSers become the best AliExpress dropshipping app out there?

This oberlo vs DSers article will compare features of both dropshipping apps and help you decide which best fits your store!

What Is Oberlo

Oberlo vs dsers

Oberlo is a Shopify app that integrates with AliExpress and allows you to source products and fulfill orders.

Oberlo is best known for being THE AliExpress dropshipping app out there.

Oberlo is very easy to use as it comes with a snappy dashboard that has been trying to make dropshipping as simple as possible for years.

With free Oberlo you can:

  • Add products from AliExpress to your Shopify store at the click of a button
  • Fulfill orders at the click of a button

Using Oberlo with your Shopify store is completely free. They do have a paid plan for $29.90 per month once you reach over 50 orders per month.

At this point you also get access to some extra and useful features such as:

  • Real-time order tracking (tracking notifications get sent to your customers)
  • Bulk order fulfillment (fulfill all AliExpress orders with one button click)

Oberlo used to have more expensive plans such as a $79.90 per month plan. Luckily for us, this plan no longer exists and all of its benefits are now inside the boss plan for just $29.90 per month.

Oberlo Pros and Cons

  • AliExpress dropshipping import and fulfillment
  • Amazing 24/7 support
  • Access to dropshipping courses

  • Only available for Shopify
  • $29.90/mo once you reach 50 orders per day

What is DSers

DSers is very similar to Oberlo.

They do exactly the same thing: AliExpress product import AND product fulfillment.

DSers is also an official dropshipping partner for AliExpress. Something Oberlo, surprisingly, is not.

This means your AliExpress account gets whitelisted, and you get access to cash-backs and drop shipper discounts!

With free DSers you can:

  • Add products from AliExpress to your Shopify store at the click of a button
  • Bulk order fulfillment
  • Use multiple suppliers (in case product is out of stock)
  • Sync tracking information
  • Manage multiple stores

So with DSers you get exactly what Oberlo is offering on their paid plan with some extra features on top of that.

On the DSers paid plans, you also get access to:

  • Buy One Get One bundles for product upsets
  • Advanced mapping
  • Automated inventory updates

DSers paid plans start at $19.90 per month. This is still very cheap considering you get more function than you get with Oberlo.

DSers Pros and Cons

  • Free plan available (for now) paid plans start at just $19.90
  • Available for Shopify AND WooCommerce
  • AliExpress dropshipping import and fulfillment
  • Bulk order fulfillment on paid plan
  • Advanced mapping features

  • UI is slightly more complicated than Oberlo

When to Pick Oberlo over DSers?

I recommend Oberlo for beginners.

Beginners don’t need extra features such as advanced supplier mapping, bulk order fulfillment, product bundles and so on.

And even when they do need them at some point, switching between Oberlo and DSers isn’t hard at all and you can do so at any point.

Why is Oberlo better for beginners?

DSers has a lot of extra features, this makes everything look a little more confusing than with Oberlo where everything is pretty straight-forward.

On top of that, there are hundreds of youtube videos and articles out there to show you how to get started with Oberlo and AliExpress dropshipping.

DSers isn’t nearly that popular so you’ll have a hard time finding the same kind of helpful content online.

Oberlo is also known for their amazing 24/7 support which will definitely help you out at the start.

On top of that they are owned by Shopify so the integration is seamless.

And last but not least, Oberlo gives you access to articles, videos and even courses for dropshipping.

They simply provide SO much content for beginners you have to love them for it.

When to Pick DSers over Oberlo?

For intermediate and advanced drop shippers who know what they’re doing, I recommend DSers.

Extra features such as bulk order fulfillment, advanced product mapping and so on become really useful once you know how to successfully run a dropshipping store.

Should you Switch from Oberlo To DSers?

If you’re currently using Oberlo, it might be time to switch to DSers if you’re doing multiple orders a day.

The bulk order fulfillment will help you out and you’ll also benefit from having AliExpress flashbacks and discounts for drop shippers.

My thoughts on Oberlo vs Dsers

Honestly, if you’re looking for an AliExpress dropshipping app, both Oberlo and Dsers are great options.

I’m fond of Oberlo just because of how snappy the dashboard is, how good the support is, and the many dropshipping courses they provide.

That being said, DSers offers a wide range of features that Oberlo simply does not.

DSers free plan has more features than Oberlo’s paid plan.

And DSers’ paid plan is cheaper than Oberlo at $19.90 per month compared to $29.90 per month.

While I love Oberlo, DSers is clearly the new number one app for ALiExpress dropshipping right now and if you haven’t already, you should definitely check them out.

Is DSers Better Than Oberlo?

Yes. Feature-wise, DSers beats Oberlo any day. DSers is free and comes with advanced features such as bulk order fulfillment and product tracking. Something that you only get on Oberlo’s paid plan.

However, Oberlo is more beginner-friendly, has a snappy dashboard and a wide-range of dropshipping ebooks and courses.

Can You use Oberlo with WooCommerce?

No, Oberlo is not compatible with WooCommerce. Only with Shopify.

Can You use DSers with WooCommerce?

Yes! DSers is compatible with both WooCommerce and Shopify!

Is DSers Free?

Yes DSers is free.

The free plan gives you access to 3 stores, bulk order fulfillment, order tracking and other useful features.

They also have paid plans at $19.99 and $49.99 for features such as advanced mapping, and the ability to import more products.

Is DSers Owned By AliExpress?

No, DSers is not owned by AliExpress. They are an official partner to AliExpress though.

Can I Bulk fulfill orders with DSers?

Yes you can bulk fulfill orders with DSers. This feature belongs to their free plan.

Can I Gain Access To AliExpress Dropshipping Center with DSers?

Yes, by linking the DSers app to your AliExpress account you get access to the AliExpress Dropshipping Center.
